Who dunnit?

Hey it's been too long since I have updated the blog so I'll try and catch up. Jacob had a basketball tournament in Burlington last weekend. They were down 3 guys due to school basketball tournament conflicts. But they played great and made it to the finals on Sunday. They came 2nd in the tournament with a silver medal. Jacob had Grandpa and Grandma W. there for his 2 games on Saturday and I think that was great for him to have them there. We stayed at Mark and Robyn's for the friday night and had a great but short visit with them. There daughter plays rep. volleyball so it seems that with kids the same age we also seem to be doing the same things. It's very easy to catch up and relate.
Saturday we had to hurry home to attend a Mystery Adventure dinner held by the christian high school. We had purchased tickets that told us who we had to dress up as. Al was Peter Sellers (of Pink Panther fame). He wore a beige trench coat and suit, grew most of mustache (which I filled in with eye liner pencil) and put on a great french inspector accent. My ticket was Grace Kelly (Princess of Monaco) I wore the bridesmaid dress from Jen's wedding and some long white opera gloves, a tiarra and some fake diamond jewels. The evening was spent eating dinner and collecting clues for a kidnapping that took place. There were 70 guests at the dinner held in the gym and everyone came dressed up and in their part. We had Hugh Beuamont and Barbara Billingsly, (Leave it to Beaver Fame), Marilyn Monroe, Bob Marley, JF Kennedy, etc etc. It was great fun. Raising money for the school and just having great fun. Next year they promised dinner around the Pirates of the Carribean theme. Sounds interesting!!

Monday was Al's mom's birthday and we all went out for dinner, the weather was bad so we had Esther over night with us too. They later came over to play Euchre.
Time just ticks away.... I wish I were going someplace warm this March Break but I guess we will just have to wait a little longer.
Winter will soon be over and summer is just around the corner.

Sounds like the murder mystery would have been fun! We should do one at the cottage.

Good idea, Jen!! It does sound like a lot of fun...people acting out different roles...it could be a repeat of charades!!!!!
