a bird?? No they are practising with Big Bird for next Christmas when they will bring their new little one.

THE LEGEND OF BIG BIRD

Big Bird has been a farourite game of the Borgdorff clan now for a couple of years. It started couple of years ago when Vince and Pauline were having a garage sale and trying to get rid of some stuff animals that a family of 6 can so easily acquire. They tried to give it to Kristen and I set my foot down. " We don't need any more stuff animals at our house I said" so we gave it back but when it was time to leave the Big Bird was in our truck. We threw it out the window as we were leaving but Uncle Vince chucked it back and it landed in the truck through the window that I was frantically trying to close and hence started the big bird game. We turned around and threw it back and drove like crazy with Uncle Vince running after us trying to get the big bird back to us. Since then it has arrived in Christmas gift bags at birthday parties and even purolatored to Vince's shop. It's been found in microwaves and glove boxes and it just keeps appearing in strange places just as soon as we all get together. One year it ended up in a roasting pan at Thanksgiving dinner. Graham and Rebekah are now part of the game and we will just see where Big Bird ends up next.
