So most years we celebrate Jacob's birthday tubing. One year it was cancelled because we had a January thaw a little early. One year only half the cousins could make it because the Dundas family was snowed in. This year Jacob wanted to bowl which turned out to be a very good idea, since as you can see from the pictures there was NO SNOW not just a thaw but really we haven't had any snow fall (2 days in November) that we can speak of. Living in the snow belt that just doesn't happen so I thought it would be fun to get a picture of the cousin around the camp fire cooking their own sausages for lunch. Hey Al and I didn't have to make lunch so it worked for us. (I did ask the kids to take their sweatshirts off for the picture. If you didn't know any better you might think we took this months and months ago. Even the grass is green.
